Teen Patti Summary

Teen Patti, like poker, is a popular Indian gambling card game. It’s
usually played in a group of three to six people with a 52-card deck sans
jokers.  Each player is dealt three cards face down.  The boot amount
is chosen and collected from each participant before the cards are dealt. The
boot amount is the smallest bet placed in the pot, which is the money in the
middle of the table. The pot money grows as the game proceeds, and the winner
of that hand wins it. The winner is the player who stays in the game to the end
of the hand and has the best or highest hand, as determined by the card
rankings below.Ranking of the cards from high to low is:

1.Trail or Set (three of same rank),

2.Pure sequence,

3.Sequence (or run),

4.Color,

5.Pair (two cards of same rank), and

6.High Card.

Each rank’s highest to lowest cards are shown in the diagram below. It should be noted that the highest ranking sequence is A-K-Q, whereas the second best ranked sequence is TeenPatti

OVERVIEW

Playing TeenPatti. Each player contributes the boot money and gets three face-down cards. Now it’s the turn of the player to the left of the dealer, clockwise. The player might choose to play blind (without seeing the cards) or see the cards. When a player sees his card, he or she might choose to play chaal or other choices, depending on the game’s progress. A player who makes a blind bet is known as the blind player. The seen player is a player who places his bet after viewing the cards.

Blind Player. You cannot see your cards if you are a blind player. If available, you have the option to play Pack, Blind, or Show. To play Blind, place your bet in the pot. The Blind bet amount is equal to or twice the current stake amount. In the case of the first player, the boot amount equals the current stake amount. As a result, if the first player is blind, he or she must bet the boot amount or twice the boot amount.

Stake Amount. A blind player’s bet becomes the stake amount for the next player, whereas a seen player’s bet becomes half of the stake amount for the next player. The bet amount can be equal to the stake amount or twice the stake amount in the case of the next blind players. Just when there is only one opponent left in the game can a blind player request a Show. This is a blind show. After asking for show , both players’ cards become visible, and the winner takes the pot.

Seen Player. A seen player can play Chaal, Pack, or other games. Show and Side Show are two further options offered to the seen player. If you want to stay in the game after seeing your cards, you must play chaal unless you choose another choice.

(a) Chaal. If Chaal or Side Show are available, a seen player must play them to stay in the game. The player must put the stake amount in the bot to play chaal. A visible player’s gamble is equal to twice or four times his or her current stake. If the preceding player is blind, the stake amount for the next player is equal to the amount placed by the previous player. If the preceding player is a visible player, the stake for the next player is half of the prior player’s bet.

(b) Side Show. A seen player  can request a Side Show. The term “side show” refers to comparing your cards to those of the previous player. Only if the previous player is also a seen player and there are one or more other players still in the game.. Side Show requires you to stake twice as much as your existing stake. The previous player has been informed of your request for the Side Show. Your Side Show request will be accepted or denied by the preceding participant.

You must pack if your Side Show request is granted and the previous player has stronger cards than you. If your cards are superior than those of the previous player, that player must pack. The turn passes to the next player after one of you has packed.

If your Side Show request is denied, you will not be able to view each other’s cards; nonetheless, both of you remain in the game and the turn will be passed to the next player.

Limited Stake and Unlimited Stake Tables.  When you initially start playing Teen Patti, you’re put on a low-stakes table. The boot amount is 2, you can play up to 4 blinds, the maximum Chaal is 256, and the pot limit is 2048 on the first limited stake table you play. When the Pot limit is reached, all remaining players are forced to reveal their cards, and the winner is awarded the Pot.

The boot amount is 4, you may play up to 4 blinds, the maximum Chaal is 512, and the Pot limit is 4096 at the next level limited table. Higher level tables are for players who have played a lot of hands and have a lot of chips.
