Andar Bahar
Mang Patta, also known as Andar Bahar or Katti, is a single-deck Indian card game. The dealer shuffles the deck and exposes one card as the ‘Joker’ before the betting begins. ‘Andar’ and ‘Bahar’ are the names of two betting teams. To win the bet, you must correctly predict which side the ‘Joker’ card will appear on.
The Game’s Primary Rules
FIRST BET
When the Joker card is revealed, the game begins. You can choose to place your ‘First Bet’ on Andar or Bahar. The cards are dealt first on Bahar, then on Andar. If the Joker is dealt first on Bahar, all bets on Bahar will be paid out at 25% of the stake, while Andar will lose. If Andar’s first card is the Joker, all bets on him will be paid off at even money. Bahar will be defeated.
SECOND BET
The dealer will announce the ‘2nd Bet’ after one card is drawn on both sides and the Joker is not exposed. You now have the option of placing the 2nd Bet. If the first card of the second ‘Bahar’ bet is a Joker, all second bets on Bahar will be paid at 25% of the original wager, while the first bet on Bahar will be paid at even money.
